Reading many of the posts on this once in a lifetime gathering of the top musical talent of this generation I think that even though we all have our favorite singers,,if one of them were missing it would not have turned out to be the best music video of all time, God bless the ones who remain to share their talent with us,,, and rest in peace to the ones who no longer can. It is truely remarkable to see M.J. as I remember him (...Off the Wall-era), Ray Charles and the others. Dylan, Lauper and Kim Carnes- what's left to say about them. Springsteen squeezes out a couple excretions as well. Billy Joel looks sober, and Dan Akroyd only takes up one parking space. No overt self-indulgence though, egos were left at the door. All in all, a masterful collaboration brought together at the baton of Quincy Jones. This original stands alone.
